Fuji X-Pro1 at CES 2012

Fujifilm had several X-Pro 1 cameras on their booth at CES. They were fully operational. One of the  representatives confirmed  that the new X-Trans CMOS sensor is made by Fuji. No news on the pricing, it will most probably be close to Amazon’s listings from few days ago. There will be no lens kits for sale, just body only (this could only be for the US). The M-mount adapter for the X-Pro 1 will be announced/introduced later in 2012.

Fuji X-Pro 1 Leaked Updated

The Fujifilm X-Pro1,  Fuji-filim said it will build on the success of the X100 model, by adding a camera that features a custom-developed 16-megapixel APS-CMOS sensor incorporating a new filter array and the company’s proprietary EXR processor technology.

The camera also includes a second-generation hybrid view-finder and takes three prime interchangeable Fuji-non lenses, all with fast apertures.

The lenses include: the 18mm (27mm equivalent) f/2.0, 35mm (53mm equivalent) f/1.4 and 60mm (90mm equivalent) f/2.4.

Having tried the Fuji X100, this camera has the potential to be brilliant. I hope someone will release an M mount adapter permiting the use of Leica, Zeiss and Voitlander lenses on this camera.
